When you are starting up, business cards are a cheap way to get your name and contact information out to potential customers. You hand them out like candy hoping someone will hold on to it and call or visit you wanting your product or services. When you do get a new customer you hope they will take your cards and give them out to their friends. Plain cards do not have the eye catching power as a card printed in color. When printing in color, your cards will stand out among other competitor’s cards and will not get lost in the shuffle. When I set out to design my card I wanted it to be in color. I had a photograph, which one can be printed on any of Card Man, Inc print items, that I wanted on my card because it was showed my patriotism for my country and my state. Then I designed the text to have contrasting colors so that the different info stood out from each other. The difference in the plain white card and the color card are obvious, and with printing on the other side of the card, it goes from a simple plain card to an informative piece of advertising. When you buy business cards you it comes with a front and a back side, so why not use both of them?
